Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Science in Nursing from University of South Carolina in 2005 and 2010, respectively. From 2011-2025 she worked as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner (1 of only 8 Certified Nephrology NPs in the state of SC).

With over 15 years of experience as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner, Heather brings a deep foundation in complex chronic disease management to her role as an internal medicine provider. Her background includes comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease, hypertension, and multisystem conditions, emphasizing continuity of care and patient education. Heather is passionate about delivering evidence-based, compassionate primary care and supporting patients across the lifespan in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Outside of medicine, Heather calls Fairfield County home and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys. She enjoys hobbies such as gardening, cooking, and reading. These personal passions reflect her dedication to a holistic well-being, personally and professionally.
